Judy Lynne Schick passed away peacefully on July 1, 2020 in her home in Vancouver, surrounded by her family. She was 74 years old. Judy was predeceased by her parents Pat and Kathleen Houlgrave, and by her sister Peggy Porter. She is survived by her husband Sam, her daughter Sacha (Garry), her son Brian, her grandchildren Cruz and Zozo, and by her brothers Robin (Sandra) and Mike (Val).
Judy was born in Penticton, grew up in Comox, and moved to Vancouver where she met her loving husband of 48 years, Sam Schick. She was a graceful and wise wife, a grounded and fun mom, and the perfect grandmother. She had an active lifestyle filled with friends and interests, including walking in Pacific Spirit Park every morning, playing bridge and golf, travelling, and rug hooking.
We miss her deeply, and are so fortunate to have had her in our lives. As per her request, there will be no service.
