In loving memory ~
Jud's family sadly said farewell to their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister on June 03, 2022. Jud leaves behind Mel, her husband of 54 years, beloved daughters Megan (Brandon and Bea) and Stephanie (Nathan and Rowland), her sister and friend Sandy (Bill, Dianne, Julie), and a large family of relatives.
Jud was born in Shirley and lived a long and fruitful life here in Sooke, devoting countless hours and days to local projects and causes. She leaves a huge space in the local art world, and she will be missed by her co-workers and friends at Home Hardware. Her legacy will live on in the plants found in gardens throughout Sooke. She had deep and meaningful friendships, and she was like a second mother to many of the kids that grew up with her own.
Her family is grateful to Bonnie, Kathy, Sheilagh, and Sooke Hospice for their kindness. They are indebted to Dr. Forsberg for her support.
