It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Kirby on September 7, 2022 in Nanaimo, British Columbia at the age of 70. She was surrounded by so much love and family by her side.
Joyce was born on March 16, 1952 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan to Lorne and Eudora Halbert. She was happily married to Roderick 'Rod' Kirby, the love of her life for almost 51 years.
With a passion for reading, yoga, exercising, solving puzzles and cooking, Joyce most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce will forever and lovingly be remembered by her husband, Rod, her daughter, Tara Golob (Diamen), son Travis Kirby; her grandkids Dylan and Brooklyn.
She was also survived by her brother Harvey Halbert (Sylvia), sisters, Sandra Barsi (Ed) and Heather Wagner (Ted), many nieces and nephews and so many dear friends.
