Predeceased by his wife Laura, parents Fred & Martha and siblings Tony, John, Sam, Jim, Annie and Margaret.
He left behind a family who loved him dearly. Survived by daughters Laureen (Howie) and Louise (Chris). Grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as siblings Tina, Irene, Fred, Polly, Marie (Gino) and Fanny (Jim). Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad worked for many years at Rayner & Bracht and farmed all his life. His grandson Tyler was always there to help. Growing up he enjoyed the rodeo circuit with his brother Fred, and exercised horses at a race track. As a young man he traveled by horse from Port Alberni to the Gang Ranch in Northern BC for employment. Dad was an inventor who crafted many one of kind pieces of machinery and tools using only what he had on the farm. He was a smart man who lived a simple life.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Sunday November 17th from 11:30 - 1:30 pm at Beaver Creek Community Hall. Please bring your special memories and if you wish, we can have them read for you.
