In loving Memory

Joseph Donald, the oldest of seven children, grew up in Kamloops and Victoria, moving to Port Alice at age 19, where he worked in their Pulp Mill as a machinist. He met his wife Louise there and they married in 1956, moving to Port Alberni in 1957, continuing in his machinist career in the pulp mill until retiring at age 60.

He was so proud of, and loved dearly, his 5 children, Joe (Kim), Deb (Dennis, deceased), Susan (deceased 1983), Mike, Lorraine (Bruce), and his grandchildren Ryan, Cara & David, Christa & Jason.

Don was a remarkable person, a real craftsman, rebuilding our entire house, and he made so many treasures with his many hobbies. He was heavily involved in several local groups. He cared deeply for his family, doing all he could for and with them, including so many hikes and camping trips. We all loved him dearly and were so fortunate to have him in our lives.

Forever in Our Hearts.
