Joseph Clifford "Gord" Jameson

November 11, 2017

Joseph Clifford Gordon (Gord) Jameson- Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend said his final goodbye and slipped away peacefully on Saturday. Known by all as a kind-hearted, gentle man with unending patience and integrity.

Gord was a man who always put his family first - always wishing he could do more. A man with so much kindness to share and a fierce warrior spirit. Gord fought a hard battle to overcome injury and in later years, illness; his belief to always be there as the rock for his family was what spurred him to keep fighting.

In the end, he was so very tired. He is now at peace and can rest easy, still looking over those he loved knowing, we've got it from here.

Predeceased by his wife Moyra; mother Flossie Perrault, who raised such a fine man; mother Catherine Jameson of the Upper Similkameen Indian Band, a family he found later in life; sister Marjorie, whom he adored and brothers Ernie and Ray, whom he held in the highest regard.

Gord is survived by his children Michael (Tina), Lynne (Robb), his wife Moyra's' children Karen (Freddie), Judy, and Arlene, grandchildren Mark, Stephanie, Brittany, Morgan, Hailey and great grandson Sawyer.

Gord was a hard-working boom man on the Fraser river for most of his career, starting at the age of 18. His career was cut short by an accident which left him with a serious spinal injury after which, he beat the odds and

learned to walk again.

Gord will be deeply missed by all that knew him; always present offering genuine interest, time to listen and a joke to share (the cornier the better). Making people smile made his heart soar

"Be good"...."Enjoy what you can" he will forever be remembered for these parting words with overwhelming love by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society are appreciated.
