On November 2nd, 2018, Claude, age 77, was called back home to the Lord. He is survived by brother Orval (Evelyn), sisters Denise (Robert) and Doril (Bernard), daughter Shana (Frank), sons Clinton (Nicola) and Brian (Marla), and grandchildren Kristopher, Sarah, Ash, Cameron, Noah, Levi, and Matthew, and former wives Sandra, and Betsy.

Born March 2, 1941 in Jackfish, Saskatchewan, to Ernest George Henry Nolin and Bertha Marguerite (nee Carriere), he served two years in the Canadian Armed Forces (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry). An avid reader, pool shark, and natural born craftsman he began his career as master taper with his company "True Line Drywall" before moving on to carve and sell beautiful pieces of native art both big and small.

Being of Metis decent, Claude combined French Catholicism and Cree religion to show his love of God and life to all. An incredible sense of humour, it's no wonder a man with such great spirit remained so brave and positive throughout his treatments, putting a smile on the faces of those around him.

Special thanks to Saanichton Peninsula Hospital and all the staff in Palliative Care.

Honest, loyal, light hearted, handsome and loving, Claude remained focused on the good things in life, proving that you really can be the change that you want to see in the world.

Your memory will be cherished, and your spirit will live on with us, until we all meet again. (Celebration of Life TBA).
