Joseph Bernard ('Bernie')
Joseph Bernard ('Bernie') Charpentier, loving husband of Elizabeth J. Charpentier, passed away peacefully in his 91st year on June 12th, 2021, at Discovery Harbour long term care home in Campbell River, BC.
Bernie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his step- daughters Jeannie Baird (Alan) and Deborah Johnson (Stanley). Also by his grandchildren - Cole (Jenn), Paige (Tyler), Kemei and Kendra and his great-grandchildren - Kaylyn, Braeden, Cayden and Maliyah, and his remaining family - Donna Beauchesne (Hector), Art Charpentier (Marie), Carol Schmelke (Dale), Ron Charpentier (Lavena), Teddy Charpentier and by his many friends.
The family would especially like to thank Discovery Harbours' Hornby staff and the Front Desk staff for their compassion and attentiveness to Bernie over the past months.
We would also like to thank Dr. Debruin for his care of Bernie.
Due to Covid-19, no service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Bernie's memory.
