It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jordie Dube. Jordie was born in Vancouver and spent most of his years in Gold River and Campbell River. Jordie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jordie enjoyed spending time with family, babies (especially being an Uncle to his Niece Ava), and playing with Roxy & Tiffany, his favorite dogs. He also loved "going for a Timmy's", playing board games, beach fires, going camping, playing video games, baseball and hanging out with his friends.
Jordie was predeceased by his Mother Laurie Wheat, Grandfather Paul Dube, and Grandmother Connie Dube. He will be lovingly remembered by his Father, John Dube, Brother Colin Dube Wheat (Sarah), Sister Shania Wheat (Taylor), Auntie Sue McEwen, Grandparents Gail and Stan Wheat, his best friends Starr, Ashley Marie and Aliya, as well as multiple other family members and friends. The family requests that those wishing to honour Jordie's memory with a donation, consider the Campbell River SPCA, in lieu of flowers.
We will celebrate Jordie's short time with us at a memorial service at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 31st, at the Elk Falls Crematorium, 6400 Gold River Highway, Campbell River.
