Jon Christian Paulson, 75, peacefully passed away with family by his side, Monday, Oct 30th, 2017 in Campbell River, BC.

He was born October 17th, 1942 to Bruce and Dee Paulson in Woodinville, WA, USA. He was married to Sylvia Paulson for 28 years and raised two sons Eric and Andrew "Andy."

Jon enjoyed many pastimes during his life but fly fishing for steelhead and preparing a gourmet meal with the freshest ingredients were two of his favorites. He designed and built many buildings that still stand in Campbell River and was a revered ceramics instructor at North Island College for many years... a highly intelligent and creative man.

Survivors include his former wife Sylvia, his son Eric Paulson and daughter-in-law Heidi, along with their 4 children Haley, Hunter, Emily and Ella Paulson.

His two brothers, James "Jim" Paulson and his wife Pat and daughter Suzanne, Robert "Bob" Paulson and his wife Cynthia. As well as his half-brother Howard Tillotson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Andy.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 25th, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at his home.
