Post WWII, Dad and his parents (Stanislaw and Ursula) were transferred from Poland to Germany and Italy where the lived in refugee camps until they immigrated to Tasmania, where he attended St. Virgil's College in Hobart.

In 1954 they immigrated to Canada. After completing his Electrical Draftsman training, Dad used his skills in both drafting and construction to help build the Polish White Eagle Hall in Victoria, where over the years he and our mom had many memories.

Dad was a real outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, mushroom picking and camping, taking us on many adventures. Dad designed and built their summer home in Shawnigan Lake to which they moved after his retirement from BCFP.

Dad will forever and fondly remembered for his family breakfasts and the importance of home made chicken soup.

He is lovingly remembered by those he most cherrished: Diann his bride of 58 years, their children Leslie (Bill), Mark (Connie), Jan (Gloria), Kim (Shane). Grandchildren Kevin (Avery), Emily (Alex), Meaghan, Johnathan (Morgan), Jesse (Moira), Jake, Kiara and Cheyenne and Great Grands Brodie and Taylor.

A private service was held on Friday, November 10th at the Shawnigan Cemetery.
