John Stephen Bradley, beloved husband, and father, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23rd.
John was a multi-talented man of boundless energy and determination, who could design, build, restore, or repair anything from houses to cars.
He was fiercely loyal to Canada Safeway, to his staff, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make their lives better.
John was very much a family man who enjoyed retirement life in Parksville with his wife of 43 years, Rhonda and his Golden Retriever, Winston, who was always by his side.
John was happiest when family and friends were gathered around the table sharing good food and laugher. His sense of humour and brilliant observations of human nature made for some memorable evenings and luckily most of us, particularly daughter Jenn, shared his brand of humour.
Rhonda and Jenn were his pride and joy and their love and strength helped to make John's final summer come true with all his favourite things to do.
His passing has left us devastated. There was no one else like him.
Left to mourn, his wife Rhonda, daughter Jenn, mother Elizabeth, predeceased by his father, John Bradley Sr., sister Teri Hamer (Rick Stanley), Sister-in- law Carol Helgason, Patricia Kennedy, nieces, nephews, who sent messages to John filled with love. And video's of his little great niece and nephew, Rhys and Enya, which made John smile on those bad days.
So many wonderful friends who will also miss him.
Funeral Mass to be held at St. Peters, Nanaimo on Saturday, September 28th at 1 pm with reception to follow in church hall.
