On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, John "Johnny" Beaudoin, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 85.

Johnny was born on May 24, 1933, in Quebec. He married Yvonne Beaudoin, (nee Derasp), on Sept 25, 1953, and together they raised one son and four daughters.

Johnny was a highly skilled builder and, along side his son, worked as a carpenter for more than 60 years. He had a strong connection to nature and the outdoors, loved taking his family camping and fishing, and cherished the hunting trips he and his son would go on together. He was an avid music lover and played violin and guitar beautifully. His family knew very well, that if they couldn't see him, they only had to follow the sound of his happy whistling.

Johnny was well known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart. The adoration he had for his wife Yvonne, or "mum" as he lovingly called her, inspired his children, grandchildren, and all those who knew him, and has laid a strong foundation for generations to come.

Johnny is survived by his wife - Yvonne - his five children - Ray, Louise, Yvette, Jeannine, and Carole - his 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Daybreak Park, next to Foggdukkers Coffee at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
