It is with the greatest of sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Blue.
Blue is survived by his loving wife, Nel, his daughters Allison, Liz (Eric) and his step daughter Adrienne (Doug), his former wife Janet (Art) his brothers David (Moira), Michael (Brenda) and his sister Marylea (John), his grandchildren, whom he adored, Isaac, Ava, Seth, Scott, Will and Iris. And many nieces and nephews. He had an enormous number of friends that he loved so much.
Blue was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on October 5th, 1950. The Cameron family moved from Beaver bank N.S. to Courtenay, BC in August, 1964. He attended Vanier High School, after which, he went to Vancouver Island vocational school and earned his welding ticket.
His first job was at Yarrow Ship Builders in Esquimalt. He worked at Woss Camp for many years before accepting a position at CFB Comox.
He retired from there. With Nel, he moved to his second favourite country, Costa Rica, 12 years ago. He succumbed to his illness there in San Jose.
Blue loved working on his motorcycles and spending time with his kids. Riding his Harleys was his hobby and a huge part of his life.
His children and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved them all so much,
Unfortunately, because of Coronavirus and all that entails, there will be no Celebration of Life at this time. There will be one eventually when Nel can come back to Canada and bring him home.
