It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our dad, John. Survived by Marie Hutchins, his loving & caring wife of 66.5 years. His kids Heather (Steve) Smith, George (Mimi), Jerry(Bronwyn), Glen (Karla) & Garth (Roz) & all of his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Dad was a special man with a lust for life & always wanting to crack a joke just to see you smile. He was also known to many as "Pa"(our extended family).
He didn't want to leave us & he fought off death as long as he could but his time had come after 94 years of life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Farias for her devotion to dads needs in the final phase of his life.
And a thank you to the staff at Yuculta Lodge for the care & comfort you provided for dad during his short stay with you.
Rest in peace dad...until we meet again!
There will be a Celebration of Life, on May 6th at the Eagles Hall from 12 to 4.
