It is with great sadness that the family of Joanne Raybeck announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, December 21, at Wexford Creek Care home in Nanaimo.
Joanne was predeceased by her sons William "Billy", Leonard "Scott", and also by her loving husband William Raybeck.
Joanne leaves to mourn her daughter Laurie (Joseph), sons Donald (Brenda), David (Brenda), Greg (Karen).
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren whom she loved; Jason, Aaron, Danielle, Laura, William, Chantel, Trevor, and Bryce. Joanne also had four great grandchildren, Kane, Kaliandra, Adalyn, and Linden who brought joy to her life.
Joanne will be missed by her sister Dorothy McFarland and her brother Blair Curtis.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteering with the Special Olympics and she also enjoyed bowling. Flowers gratefully declined; donations may be made to the Special Olympics. https://www.specialolympics.bc.ca/ways-give/ donate-online
A Celebration of Joanne's life will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 20th, 2018, at 2405 Morland Road, Nanaimo BC.
