December 28, 1936 - November 7, 2019
Passed away peacefully at Comox Valley Senior's Village. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Jean Work, she is survived and will be lovingly missed by her husband Alex, daughter Leslie, son Russell, granddaughter Tannis, brother David Work (Karen) and sister Maureen Karajianis.
After completing high school, she worked with the Victoria Chamber of Commerce, then served with the RCAF, Trenton, where she met and married Alex, and raised her family. Upon moving to the Comox Valley, Joanne joined the office staff of Courtenay Junior High where she was employed for over 20 years.
In her leisure she enjoyed photography and gardening. She will be remembered as a pleasant, good natured person, and very popular with both the staff and students of Courtenay Junior High. She was a very devoted mother and family member whose children were her pride and joy.

Please join us in celebrating the life and journey of our beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother extraordinaire, Joanne Eleanor Gray. This Sunday, January 19th at 1 pm, at the Upper Courtenay Legion.
Together, we say goodbye to a truly wonderful lady and enjoy some good ol' reminiscing of a life well lived. Hope to see you there!
