The family of Joan McGlenen sadly announces her passing on February 7, 2019, at the age of 94 years. She was at home in Nanaimo with her family.
Joan is survived by and will be deeply missed by her sons Bob (Debbie) and Doug (Margaret), and grandchildren Lesley (Ryan), Stephanie (Martin) and Alex. She is predeceased by her husband Tom in 2008, as well as her mother Hilda and sisters Betty and Peggy. Joan loved to play golf right into her late eighties.
We would like to thank the VIHA homecare ladies and gentlemen who cared for her in the last few years and up to her passing. She loved the many personalities and the care and support they gave her.
