It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Florence Davidson (nee Timothy) announces her passing after a brief illness, on Monday November 19, at the age of 88 years surrounded by her family.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her beloved son, Timothy Davidson (Lorraine), grandchildren Michelle (Adrian), Robert (Louise), Denise (Owen), great grandchildren Olivia, Colin, Mya, and Brynn; Sister-in-law Phyllis Timothy, many nieces and nephews, among them "sister" Patsy Irvine.  Joan was one of the three last Campbell River Eagles "Merry Widows" which included her dear friend Lois Howes and Betty Morgan. Joan is predeceased by her siblings Tom Timothy, Bob Timothy, Pat Hill, Anne Timothy, and loving husband of 36 years, Lowell Davidson.

Joan and Lowell relocated to Campbell River in 1974 where they created a lifetime of memories and adventures through their travels and unconditional love for one another.  They cherished their time spent with family including doting on their well-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Eagles held a special place in Joan's heart, she was an active member for 20+ years and thoroughly enjoyed her time with friends, participating in various Eagles events and selling tickets. She was known as the Queen of Ticket Sales.

Joan was a strong, independent woman, a loyal friend, a devoted Wife and Mother, Nana, and Great-Nana. She blessed us all with her playful generous spirit and was always willing to tell it like it was. She will be forever missed by those who loved her. We love you Toots, forever in our hearts.
