In Loving Memory ~
Jo-Ann Nydahl (nee Holgate) of Crofton, B.C. (Previously of Ocean Falls, Prince Rupert, Prince George). In sadness we announce the passing of Jo-Ann on January 26, 2023 at the age of 84 years.
Jo-Ann is predeceased by her husband Burt Nydahl, parents; William S. Holgate and Katherine L. Holgate (nee Mitchell), niece Terry Ratchford.
Jo-Ann is survived by her children; Christine Nydahl (Bob), Belinda Fortman, Lisa Nydahl (Rod), Erik Nydahl (Jennifer), also grandchildren; Benjamin Fortman, Trenton Nydahl and Jillian Nydahl, sister-in-law: May Sutton, and her siblings; William Holgate (Irene) and Patricia Ratchford (nee Holgate).
Sharing in the sadness of loss are nine nieces and nephews whom she all loved dearly.
Through the years Mom also held many friendships near to her heart, two of which were Carole Vaux and Roberta Clarkson.
A remembrance of Jo-Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 11, at New Life Community Baptist Church, 1839 Tzouhalem Road, Duncan, B.C.
An opportunity will be provided for those who would like to share a memory or tell of how Jo-Ann impacted their lives. Refreshments will be served after the service.
In lieu of flowers a small donation made to dementia research would be appreciated.
