July 27, 1931 - December 28, 2020
It is with heavy hearts we announce his passing. He went peacefully with his family at his side. He was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.
Jim married Isabel in 1955. They resided in Edmonton until 1966 and moved to the Comox Valley to raise their four children. Jim is predeceased by his wife Isabel, son Leslie and sisters Jean and Gwen. He is survived by daughter Terri (Brent), son Robert (Wilma), daughter Laurie (Terry), nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He leaves behind a close friend Olive. Special thanks to the staff and residence of Berwick Retirement Community.
He enjoyed fishing, berry picking, travel down south for the winter and spending time with family and friends.
Due to Covid, the family will be having a celebration of life in the summer.
