Jeri FIsher (nee Palliser)

April 6, 2019

She became our Angel on April 6th, 2019 after a short courageous hard fought battle with family by her side. Jeri is survived by her son, Justin and wife Bianca and her two adored grandchildren James and Anna. She is survived by her sister Judy Palliser and Jayne (Bruce) Ingram and family, Sister in law Pamela Palliser and family, many nieces, nephews, Aunt, cousins, Colleagues and many friends.

Jeri grew up in Mesachie Lake and Lake Cowichan and loved to return to spend time with family and friends. She loved those bon-fires with a burned hotdog and a wee Bacardi/Pepsi with family and friends on the lake.

Jeri was well respected in the Health Care fields at Richmond Hospital by the Doctors, Nursing staff and anyone who worked there. Her colleagues said about Jeri

"Patients first and dedicated to her Team" "Your dedication to your patients and colleagues was amazing. I can't imagine how many lives you have become part of - your positive empathy and compassion were left on those lives".

Jeri was a member of the "Girls Behaving Badly ", a group of school chums who kept their friendships alive. She is one of their Guardian Angels and will be with you in spirit all on your next adventures.

If Jeri wasn't working, with her family then she was on a travel adventure with her good friend Laura, Mexico, Palm Springs the Dominican to name a few. Jeri loved her time in Palm Springs exploring Joshua Tree Park and area with Laura navigating the roads and scenery.

Justin, Bianca, Jayne, Judy and Pamela would like to thank the Richmond Hospital staff and colleagues who sent food, flowers, and treats, the Palliative Care staff who were so kind and understanding which must have been difficult as she was a colleague, her Friend Trish who has been along her side since the beginning of her health issue, Laura, Bernice, Tommy and Marie Barb, Rob and Sharon for all their support to Jeri and all of us.

Please no Flowers a kind donation to Cowichan Lake Community Services "After School Program" which Jeri believed in helping those in need is appreciated by her family.

An Open house luncheon will be held in the near future at her Old Family home on the river.

God speed Jeri on your new Adventure
