Jere passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his Mother and Father.
He will forever be missed by his Wife of 32 years Sherry Miller, daughters Shelly and Stephanie, sons Ricky, Stephen, Kevin and Christopher, one brother Joe Dalton, 6 sisters, Davina, Gail, Helen, Gloria(Doug), Donna and Lynne(Mike), nieces and nephews, along with his much loved grandchildren.
He will also be missed and remembered by his many friends and anyone who ever met him. He was a very genuine person who would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return.
Jere always put others before himself. He was also known for his amazing drywall skills. He was an avid fisherman and loved to take day trips to his favorite fishing spots. Point Holmes and the Courtenay Air Park were two of his favorite places to spend walking or just contemplating life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 27, 2018, 12-5 pm at the Cumberland Legion.
