Jens passed away quietly on Sunday evening, April 1.
Jens loved his work, travelling, fishing, boating, golf, football (soccer), photography, and music. He also enjoyed a visit to the casino now and then. He was instrumental in the development of the Quadra Island Golf Course and was proud of his contribution to the island.
His manufacturing life was his greatest joy - he was independent, innovative and commanding. Mr. Jensen was highly respected by his employees.
He had a very droll sense of humour and loved a good practical joke, although being on the receiving end was not always appreciated.
The "Great Dane" was Danish Dynamite and he will be missed by his family and friends.
A private gathering will be held in August and a Celebration of Jens' life will be held at the Quadra Island Golf Course on September 16, 2018. Details to follow.
