It is with saddened hearts that the family of Jennifer Allison announce her peaceful passing on July 26th at the age of 76.
Jennifer was born on March 20, 1944 in Manchester, England to Joseph and Harriet Gomersall. They had a large family of six girls. Jennifer was predeceased by her parents and three sisters: Ellen, Ada and Elsie. She is survived by Jean (Stan) and Edna, her niece Valerie (Peter) who was as close as a sister and sister-in-law Janice (Rex)
In Jennifer's early years she was a member of the Brownies, the Girl Guides and had a very solid church upbringing as well as a very successful education. She was a very good athlete standing out in track and field, netball, rounders, badminton, and table tennis.
Jennifer met the love of her life Richard at the church youth club and they got married at Christ Church Harpurhey, Manchetser in 1963.
Jennifer's life from that moment was devoted to her family. Nothing meant more to Jennifer than spending the rest of her life loving, caring, and sharing with all of her extended family.
Jennifer leaves behind her loving husband Richard, her two sons Peter and Gary (Inga), Grandchildren Sarah (Tylor) and Ryan (Aly), Great Grandchildren Kira, Morgan, Korrie, Alaina, and Harmony. In addition, extended family Susan and Aimee along with many nieces and nephews in both England and Australia.
Jennifer had many very special friends who will never forget her. She had a wonderful life and leaves us with no regrets into the arms of our lord Jesus Christ.
In respect of Jennifer's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
