December 11, 1967 - May 18, 2020
It is with profound shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jennifer. Jen was born in Hamilton, ON but spent most of her life on Vancouver Island, mainly in Parksville.
She has gone to join her father, Warren, who predeceased her in 1993. She leaves behind her mom, Barbara Taylor Astley, Sisters Kim (Rick) Bourne, Tracy Moore & her brother, Scott. Also left to mourn are her 2 children, Michael (Justina) & her granddaughter, Leilani, & her daughter, Jordanna. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and great nieces.
Anyone who knew Jen knows she had an arduous life but the biggest heart. She wrote the most beautiful poetry and would give you the shirt off of her back or her last cigarette. She had a great sense of humour and loved to be the centre of attention. We will miss her infectious laugh and Donald Duck impersonation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
