In loving memory ~
It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Jeffrey Martin. Jeffrey passed away quietly on June 2nd 2022. Jeffrey was 67 yrs old.
Dedicated to his job Jeffrey worked setting up the brochure displays on BC Ferries for over 40 yrs. He was also an avid hockey fan of the local BCHL's Nanaimo Clippers, holding seasons tickets over numerous years. Jeffrey was known for his quirky sense of humor, caring heart, and was always looking for the silver lining on a cloudy day.
Jeffrey leaves behind his sisters Lori Bennett (Ken) of Nanaimo BC, Leslie Kehoe (John) of Fullerton CA. Jeffrey also leaves behind 8 nieces & 2 nephews also 2 grand nieces & 2 grand nephews.
Jeffrey's family would like to thank the caring staff of the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH for the care and dignity they gave Jeffrey in his last days. Jeffrey will be laid to rest in Cedar Valley Cemetery while his spirit will live on through eternity.
A celebration of life will be held on July 30th at the Nanaimo Full Gospel 4900 Hammond Bay Rd. noon -2pm. The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to NRGH's Palliative Care Unit or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
