Born on July 6, 1932 in L'Abord a Plouffe, Quebec, Jeannine passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022.
Predeceased by husband of 60 years, Charlie; sister, Nicole; brothers in law, Claude and Eddie; and sister in law, Nancy.
She is survived by her son Tom; sister, Liette; brothers in law, Francois and Tom; sister in law, Christine; cousins, Claire and Suzanne. As well as nephews and nieces in Montreal and Scotland.
An administrator at McGill University for many years, she was an avid gardener, cyclist, seamstress, quilter and millner. A pioneer of women's hockey, she played on a team in Laval, Quebec in the 1940's.
Her lifelong love of the outdoors resulted in many happy years hiking the mountains of New York's Adirondacks ad the coastal ranges of BC with her beloved husband Charlie.
Known and loved for optimistic and affable personality, Jeannine saw the good in everyone and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
