It is with great sadness that the Gillies family announces the death of their Mom, Jeanne Gillies on September 17, 2013. Mom died as she wished, in her own home in Parksville BC, running things to the end.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Harold and Emily de Jausserand (both were born in St. Peterport, Guernsey, CI) and her husband, Donald Gillies (born in Emo, Ontario). Jeanne is survived by her sons, Doug, Bruce and Grant; their spouses and partners; seven wonderful grandchildren, Geordie, Frasier, Meredith, Amanda, Lauren, Samuel and Findlay; and a long list of friends and colleagues.
