It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our precious wife, mother and friend, Jean Margaret Carriere, on January 15, 2019 at 62 years old.

Jean is predeceased by her son, Brandon; and parents Carl and Lena Hansen. She is survived by the love of her life Don, son Warren and daughter-in-law Amber; sisters May (Rick), Marianne (Jim), Joy (Richard), and only brother, Mike; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jean's vivacious style, personality and laugh were uniquely her own, with a smile as contagious as her desire to see the best in people and humour in life. She was a force of strength and unending support for her family, a faithful servant to Jehovah, and an inspiration to so many. The mother and auntie to all; she radiated a kindness and love that both young and old adored and found solace in. Our beautiful Jean will be dearly missed.

Jean had a profound connection and knowledge of nature that she selflessly shared with her stunning art, bountiful garden and captivating stories. Her homemaking skills were unmatched by no other; a reflection of her care and devotion to her husband, children and loved ones. Jean's ability to see the potential beauty in anything she encountered, from a tiny feather in the mud to a pile of old shirts, was extraordinary. Her creative skills were astounding and so many will cherish her gifts.

Jean inspired so many with her strong faith and spirituality. Her love for her god Jehovah and His promise that there will be a wonderful hope for the future was always the driving force in her life. Now our precious girl will sleep until her hope is realized and we will meet again in paradise. (Revelation 21:3,4)
