The family of Jean Capella is saddened by the loss of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Jean, 94 years old, passed away peacefully at home, Nov. 2nd. She was predeceased by her husband George and will be remembered by her daughters Susann McCauley and Janette (John) Thomas and their families.
Jean spent all of her 73 years of marriage in the Cowichan area, over 25 years at Honeymoon Bay before moving to Duncan. She achieved many accolades throughout the 5 & 10 pin bowling community over all these years.
Many thanks to the Cowichan Home Support Workers who provided an excellent, cheerful environment over the past year and also the Community Nurses who made her last months as comfortable as possible.
There will be no service at her request. No flowers please. She would be quite happy to have you enjoy a chuckle with a friend.
