Jean had many years of service with the Ladies Auxillary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Her service branched from Nova Scotia to British Columbia and many points in between.
Jean was predeceased by her son Paige Kendall in 1975 and her husband of 53 years, Leon Kendall. Jean is survived by her daughters; Julianne McNamara (Greg), Jacqueline MacEwan (Perry) and son; Andrew Johnson (Donna). She was a Nana to 9, Great Nana to 9 and Great Great Nana to 1.
A celebration of Life will be held on May 12, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Chemainus from 11 am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Branch 191, The Royal Canadian Legion.
Jean will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends. Go with God. We Love You.
