It is with great sadness that we announce that Alreta passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years and is now safe with Jesus.

Born and raised in Port Alberni, she participated in the Alberni Valleyettes Drill team, loved to play basketball and tennis as a young woman. Alreta also worked at Super-Valu and loved to play the keyboard and sing.

She was an excellent listener and loyal friend to all. While healthy she enjoyed attending her church in Coquitlam, BC.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Velma Oreskovich, her own father William Albert Grace, son Robert, brother Albert and sister-in-law Irene, nephew Albert Jr. and niece, Reneal as well as members of extended family.

She is survived by daughter Barbara (Todd) and grandsons Joshua and Matthew (all of Calgary), sisters Blazon (Port Alberni) and Mondy (Clive), nephew Iain of Calgary, niece Judy (Tim) of Kelowna. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also left behind sisters and brothers-in-law around the province.

With special thanks to Diane Jean who cared for Alreta and looked after her while she was in the Langley Cedar Hill facility.

No service by Alreta's request. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Alreta's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Association, or to a charity of your choice.
