Jason - beloved son, brother, dad, uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend has unexpectedly been taken from us on Tuesday, March 14, 2018, at the young precious age of 28 years.

Jason is predeceased by his father, Dale Andrew Wilson who was taken October 26, 2005.

Jason is survived by: his mother, Gayle Marie Wilson; his finance Julian Hurd; two older brothers, Travis Dale Wilson (wife Lisa and daughter Brynnlie Rose), Justin Andrew Wilson; grandparents, Andrew and Rose Marie Bauml, Roberta Wilson; and Jason's beautiful 3-year-old daughter Aurora Marie Wilson.

Jason's immediate family live in Errington, Parksville, Nanaimo and Victoria on Vancouver Island BC, his fiance Julian lives in Edmonton AB, and his beautiful darling little daughter lives in Shaughnessy, Alberta with her mother Taleynn Marie MacLeod.

He will forever be remembered and live on in our hearts and our thoughts by numerous relatives, friends and colleagues.

Jason was born in Nanaimo BC, and grew up on an acreage in Errington, BC with his mother, father, two brothers; near by were Jason's grandparents, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Jason attended Errington Elementary School, Parksville Christian School and graduated in June 2007 from Ballenas High School. Jason's activities included sea cadets from the age of 13 years to 16 years where he was a proud member of the parade and gunnery team. One of his significant accomplishments at sea cadets was travelling to Kingston Ontario, for 8 weeks of summer training. After high school graduation Jason followed his studies with heavy duty mechanics training at Vancouver Island University. Jason was also very proud to have serviced as a volunteer fire fighter at the Errington Volunteer Fire Department from the age of 16 years to 18 years.

At the young age of 18 years old, and after his father had passed away 2 years earlier, Jason decided on a new adventure in life and moved to Alberta to work in the oil fields. Jason worked 10 years in this industry and his proudest accomplishment was becoming a directional driller on the oil rigs. He was very grateful to all those who believed in him and gave him this opportunity.

Jason loved to work on vehicles on his days off, to ride dirt bikes, snowmobiles and camp with all his family and dear friends who lived in Lethbridge. Those times were so very special to him and he loved to be outdoors.

Just before Jason's passing he became engaged to a lovely girl named Julian, who he just adored.

There are no words to describe how much Jason will be missed. However, comfort is found knowing Jason now rests peacefully and is in the care of his father who loved Jason dearly and will remain at Jason's side for all eternity.

"Those we love do not go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear."

"Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity."

A celebration of Jason's life will take place at 1:00 pm on April 14, 2018, at the Catholic Church of the Ascension Parksville, 887 Wembley Road, Parksville, BC. All his family, friends and co-workers and are invited to join in the celebration of Jason's life. A reception will follow in the church hall.
