In loving memory ~
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Jackie Langdon at Campbell River Hospital on October 7, 2022.
Jackie was the daughter of the late Tom and Oline Petrie of Campbell River.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Langdon, she is survived by her children Patricia Langdon (Kit), Susan Roberts (Ralph), Thomas Langdon (Tish), five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Jackie was born in Merritt and spent much of her youth in Goldbridge, B.C. She moved to Campbell River in 1948 just a few years after she completed her teacher training.
Jackie took great pride and satisfaction in her career as an elementary school teacher. She was active in her community where she enjoyed curling, a good game of golf and continued to play and teach bridge until 2020. She took great joy walking her dogs on local nature trails and spent her quiet hours reading, writing in her journals and feeding the many wild birds that frequented her backyard feeders. Jackie will be missed by the many lives she touched over her long, active and independent life.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the palliative care team at Campbell River Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 24 at 1:30 pm at The Dolphins Discovery Lodge Campbell River, B.C.

Under the snow
Speak gently, she can hear
the daisies grow
