Jane Harper passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2018, at the age of 81.
She is survived by her children Robert and Jackolyn (Brian); grandchildren Alisha, Robert, Amanda (Kris), and Cameron; six great-grandchildren; stepchildren Jim (Barb), Joyce (Gil), Jan (Karl), Heather (Jim), and Bruce, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jane was a proud Scots lady that loved to give everyone a hard time. She had an amazing sense of humour and a one of a kind personality that made everyone love to be around her. Jane enjoyed spending time in her garden growing all types of flowers, as well as photography and playing in the casino. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 4M6.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jane's memory to the BC SPCA Alberni-Clayoquot Branch, 4936 Broughton Street, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8R6.
