Jane was born in Kelwood, MB and she passed away quietly in Mill Bay, BC.
She is predeceased by her husband Jack Roozendaal, her daughter Dawn Cleasby (nee McConnell) and her son-in-law Ralph Cleasby.
She is survived by her eldest daughter Denika (nee McConnell) and son-in-law Mark Osmond; grandchildren Ashley (Omer), Matt (Claire), Amy and Blake; her siblings Doreen (Dave), Buck (Ruth), Ross (Verlene) and Ab (Carole); and too many nieces and nephews to mention by name.
Jane lived life her way and she enjoyed her family and friends. Jack and Jane worked hard at The Black Swan to build a place that people liked to come to and gather. Many a time they would be found having cocktails with customers who usually all turned into life-long friends.
In later years, Jane loved her time down south in Parker, Arizona with her dog Rosie always at her side. Jane met many people there who became a big part of her life. She loved her happy hour and all that went along with it.
There will be a celebration of Jane's life at The Black Swan Pub, 2890 Shawnigan Lake Road, Shawnigan Lake, BC on Sunday, February 11th between 1-4 pm.
