Born October 21, 1953, Comox General Hospital and passed away June 29, 2020, Comox Valley Hospital.
Murdoch was a proud Native Canadian. He was a well-educated world traveler and was at his happiest teaching English in the Far East. He taught for one year in Japan, one year in Taiwan and ten years in China before returning to his much loved Comox Valley.
Murdoch's health deteriorated steadily over the last ten years and was admitted finally to the hospital on June 25th.
Murdoch is predeceased by parents Campbell and Gilda McDonald and by his sister Dolores Gilda McDonald. Survived by his brothers Larry and his wife Darlene, and Gerry and his wife Zellah and many nieces and nephews. Murdoch will also be missed by adopted sister Linda Loft of Fort Saint John and favourite Auntie Isabell Fink of Regina.
Murdoch has been cremated and there will no service at his request.
A troubled soul at peace at last.
