Born December 19, 1930 - Joe passed away Friday Oct. 29, 2021 at NRGH. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the hospital staff on the 3rd floor for their excellent care, patience and kindness in caring for him, a special thank you to Allison, Clayton and Maddy.
Joe is survived by his children Kevin (Wendy), Ruthann (Peter) and Stephanie (Louis), grandchildren Amber, Bobby, Nicolas, Ezmie, Owen and Liam, sister Bette, brothers Alan and Michael and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan "Peggi" nee Duncan in 2001 and his brother David in 2009. Family and friends are invited to bring their fond and funny memories of Joe to his celebration of life that will be held on Friday November 12 from 12 pm to 4 pm at Sands Funeral Home, 1 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo BC.
