James Joseph Barron, 91, passed away at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on May 21st, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife of 65 years, Gertrude, and his family.
James was predeceased by his son James Thomas in 2016. Leaving to mourn are his children Deborah (Daryl), Paul (Sharon), John (Donna), Mary Jane (Doug), Keith (Lisa) and Robert. His grandchildren and great grandchildren Christopher, Nadine, Jennifer, Paul, Lisa, Marcus, Adam, Peter, Patrick, Barron, Sarah, Makayla, Wyatt, Silas, Keenan and Talia will sadly miss their Poppy.
James lived a full life beginning in Newfoundland and will be missed by his large clan including his siblings Gus, Bernice, Frances, Peter, John, Kevin, Patricia and their families. His family and friends wish him Godspeed on his journey.
Funeral will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Friday May 25th 2018 followed by a celebration of life in the church hall.
