July 16 1948 - Passed away on January 23 2019 (His father's Birthday)

We will miss the smell of smoking tires and the roar of the his 34' Ford heading down the quarter mile.

The sound of his bobcat moving who knows what...

Jim was a skilled, fearless, Master Tug Boat Captain, and started sailing when he was 15 and retired in 2011. Born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey/White Rock area.

One of his favourite sayings... "I've rung more salt water out of my socks than you've sailed in."

He was happiest when surrounded by his friends and family, with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

He passed away from complications of COPD.

Pre deceased by his son Dennis and his parents, Dave, mother Peggy and step mother Betty.

Survived by his wife Margaret of 44 years, his son Casey and partner (Glen Saunders), his daughters Crystal and Cynthia, grandchildren, Kristen, Kyle, Shyann, Devin, Kiev and Kobe, his Sisters, Karen, Pat, Sandra and Judy and his brothers, Ron, Bob and Scott.

Jim's farewell Whoooaahhh will be held at Eagle's Hall February 2 at 1 pm. 1999 14th Avenue Campbell River.
