My dearly loved husband, friend and life's companion; father of Dean & Greg, grandfather of Sayde, brother-in-law of Barbara & Jean-Paul, "Oncle" of niece, Alexandra, great oncle of Celia & Maelle ... very Special to all who knew and cared for him, kind and caring to everyone.
Courageous beyond words ... the long struggle is over, the traveller is now on his next journey, and all who love him will be with him in thoughts always.
Jack derived great pleasure for many years as an active member of the Nanoose Bay Probus Club; he was an enthusiastic advocate of Eldercollege and VIU, and enjoyed Art with DeCosmos, and gardening.
Above all, he enjoyed people and was genuinely interested in everyone he met. With wife, Catherine he enjoyed many years of travel, from their meeting 40 years ago on a flight to Tokyo. He will be greatly missed.
Many thanks to VIHA Home Support and the girls who assisted him this past year in his struggle with Parkinson's.
A family celebration of his life is planned for this summer at Hornby Island.
