In Loving Memory ~
It is with the saddest of hearts we must announce that Jack "Tractor Jack" Adrian passed away peacefully just shy of his 85th birthday.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Adrian, beloved wife Sue, and brother Denny.
He is survived by sister Judy Tidman (Ron), his children Karen Phipps (Rick), Theresa Forest, and Bob Adrian, as well as 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Jack grew up in the Cordova Bay area of Victoria where his love of horses was founded. There he met the love of his life Sue, riding in a Shriners horse show when they were just 16 and 18 years old. They married in 1960 and purchased a small farm in Saanich where they had 3 children.
In 1974 the family moved to their Dove Creek farm in Courtenay where Jack still resided enjoying farm life with dog Turbo and horse Charlie. As well as his love for farm life he also had a great passion for all things sports, playing hockey (goalie), and golfing into his 80s, as well as baseball, darts, and ping pong, just to name a few.
Jack touched many lives throughout his career as Tractor Jack, as a commercial fisherman and his many years working at Mt. Washington Ski Resort in the maintenance department. He was greatly loved by all and will leave a lifetime of memories for everyone to share.
Rest assured he's back with the love of his life riding their horses through a beautiful field of clover.
The family would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Comox Valley Hospital for their exceptional care and support through this transition of life for Jack and all his family.
