It is with sadness that we note the passing of our Aunty Isy.
Predeceased by her parents, Gordon (Jack) and Elizabeth Stewart, Brother in-law John Palmer, Niece Vivien Appleby and Nephew Eric Palmer.
Will be sadly missed by Sister (June Palmer) , Nephews Jock (Carol) and Rory (Andrea) and by many Great Nieces and Nephews.
Isabel was raised on a Saskatchewan farm until her teens. Then moved to Vancouver at the end of the depression with her family. At a very young age she started her long career as a Pharmacist's helper and Post Mistress.
Upon retirement She and her Mother moved to Campbell River. She learned to drive and was the proud owner of her own car. All of the seasons had hobbies and interests that kept her busy. Boating, Travel, Cross country skiing, gardening and that fire wood pile. She was always a big part of her immediate family's lives.
Isabel was a resident of Yucalta Lodge for the last 3 years. We would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff for the loving care she enjoyed.
