Irene Stevens passed away suddenly on February 7, 2019 in Port Alberni where she had resided with her daughter since March of 2018. Born to Anne and Fred Buse on Feb 17, 1928 in Powell River, she was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) Stevens and son Graeme. She is survived by daughters Wendy (Paul) Friberg and Linda (Dallis) Smith, 4 Grandchildren, Michelle, Leisha, Kyle and Darcy and several Nieces and Nephews in Powell River.
Thank you to those in her Senior's Exercise Group, the Day Program at Fir Park Village and to those of Loving Hands Senior Care in Port Alberni. You were all good friends. Thank you to Paramedics Vince and Kevin, Dr. DuPlessis and the Nurses and Doctors who cared for our Mother in her final days.
