Inge is survived by children Vett Lloyd and Rhys Lloyd (Kim), and grandson Yuto Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Gallandat-Huet and Hans Meyer, and brother John Meyer.
As a young woman, Inge moved from Switzerland to Vancouver, BC. One of her first jobs as a legal secretary influenced her later career path. Although she first obtained a BA and MA (UBC) in Comparative Literature, aided by her ability to speak 6 languages, she challenged the social restrictions of the time and chose a law degree over a PhD in order to support herself and her children.
She practiced law in Vancouver for many years before retiring to Parksville to spend more time weaving, gardening and traveling and enjoying the company of her senior dogs. Inge's strength and brilliance will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
