Henriette Therese Davis (Dargis) passed away peacefully with her family at her side on September 21, 2018. She was born December 12, 1927 in Bonnyville, Alberta.
Henriette is survived by her 4 loving children: Dale (Kathy), Pamela Munholland (Robert), Bryon (Iris), and Neil (Jean); 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; her sisters Lorraine (Robert) Sexsmith; Anne Marie Regimbald, and brother Andre Dargis. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey; parents Albert & Pamela (Vezau) Dargis; her brothers Raymond, Julien, and DOM Gustave Dargis; her sisters Alice Frechette, Laura Rondeau, Irene Rondeau, Isabelle Dargis, Cecile Rondeau and SR. Claire Dargis, s.c.e.
Henriette grew up on the family farm in Bonnyville, AB. After marrying Harvey in 1956, they lived in many rural and urban communities across Saskatchewan before retiring in 1989. They relocated to Nanaimo and enjoyed their time there until 2007, when they moved to West Kelowna to be closer to family.
In the spring of 2016, she moved to the Village of Smith Creek to be closer to Harvey. Many thanks to the staff in the Brown and Gellatly community for their care and compassion.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 2:30 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish, 2547 Hebert Road, West Kelowna, BC. Father Wayne Pfliger, celebrant.
