We say goodbye to dad with sadness at Seniors Village. Born in Three Hills, AB to swedish descent parents. Predeceased by parents, 7 siblings and a baby boy.

A military career; army 1944-1954, R.C.A.F. 1954-1969, excellence as a professional driver. Princess Margaret tour 1955, Safety Cavaliers 1962, NORAD 1966. Many bases, Pinetree Line of Defense. Cpl Nelson was a motor equipment operators, NWT signal operator. Skilled in road maintenance, airport snow removal, radar bases.

1969 retired from CFS Holberg as personality of the week. Memories are many. BCIT 1970 small engine repair. Words of memories - dogs, cats, boats & trucks, gardens, cooking, canning, sunflowers, crabs, cod & halibut. Moose meat "candy". Trips, hunting & fishing with Dan. Harmonicas, hearing aids, canes, plaid shirts & family Xmas; strawberry short cake. Birthday, crosswords, books & Jeopardy & moms Xmas gifts.

You were loved. We were loved.
