In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our Harley. He fought a courageous battle with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
Harley was born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia on December 3, 1956.
He moved to BC when he was around 5 years old. He grew up in Campbell River, going to school and working as a millworker for Campbell River Mills and Campbell River Fibre. Harley retired when he was 60 years old.
Harley loved life, his family, friends and sports. He coached many kids in sports as well as playing hockey and baseball himself. He travelled to many baseball & football games with his family, he had his best times in Denver watching the Broncos and Los Angeles watching the Dodgers.
Harley and Correen travelled to many warm destinations.
Harley was a kind & loving man who loved to visit and talk on the phone. Everyone loved him, his laugh was infectious, he loved to play jokes and tease. He will be greatly missed.
Harley is survived by his wife of 37 years Correen, sons Randy (Leah), Derron, step-grandsons Owen and Harvey, cat Peyton, fur grandson Louie. His sister Ann (Jim), his sister & brother in-laws that he loved so much and several nieces and nephews, and his father in-law Walter Dixon.
We would like to thank Dr. Walker, Dr Maloff, Dr. Morrison and all the caregivers for their kindness over the past few months.
Come help celebrate and share favourite memories of Harley on Sept 17, 2022 from 1 - 3 pm at our home.
