Our Island community sadly lost a very kind and gentle person on Friday, December 11, 2020, when Hans R Reichardt, favorably known as a "True Optimist", passed away from natural causes in Nanaimo.
Hans was 93 years old and was predeceased by his wife Elfriede Louise who passed in 1988. Hans and Elfriede immigrated to Canada and settled in southern Ontario before moving to Vancouver Island. Hans often spoke of his wife Elfriede, parents and siblings. We Trust and take Comfort knowing Hans is now with his wife Elfriede and Family.
Funeral services where provided by First Memorial Funeral Services Duncan. Due to Covid19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date please let us know if you want to be contacted in the your Condolences offered online at First Memorial Funeral Services . The burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 6493 Somenos Road, Duncan BC in early January 2021
